July Calendar 2016

July calendar is here!

These are some sketches i did during the month of June so I thought it'll be a great idea to use it for July calendar. (and also to make use of my washi tapes lol)

Feel free to use it for your own purposes :D

Food painting exercises

Hello to whoever is reading this post!.
I want to thank to you guys for hanging around from my absence . You see, I've been avoiding social media just to put more focus on painting stuffs that I have not painted yet.

For now I have a few that I personally liked.

crunchy bread

Doughnut with chocolate sauce filling on the center.

Portuguese tart.

Baguette.

...some pie? I painted this without any referemce so you can really see the mistakes here.

Pineapple bun/ Polo bun. Again without reference.
NOTE TO SELF: Always use references!

Although they weren't looking as what I expected them to be; instead of being so critical of myself  I'd be happy to know that I can be better next time. As an artist, I'd like to keep learning and never stay stagnant in one level.

Reminder to self: always sketch out the spelling before diving in.

I actually filmed a video of me drawing this but unfortunately i filmed in a wrong format. Next time I'll film a better painting process for you guys '_' Sorry bout it.

September sketches.

September is the starting of autumn.

I had cravings for ice cream, I miss the matcha softo from my visit to Kyoto years ago. Painting it makes me much more hungrier.

Another experimental paint for mint chocolate chip ice cream. I personally think it would be better. But I have tried..

Pink soft serve. Can you guess what flavour it is?  hint: cherry blossom.
